CL Davis – 2015 Northeast Veterinary Pathology Conference
The 2015 Northeastern Veterinary Pathology Conference sponsored by the CL. Davis, D.V.M. Foundation, will be hosted by the University of Pennsylvania, University Laboratory Animal Resources (ULAR) from 9:00am Saturday May 2, 2015 to 12:00pm on Sunday May 3, 2015 in Philadelphia, PA at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Hill Pavilion. We will feature case presentations by anatomic and clinical pathology trainees and pathologists, and 2 guest speakers. 10 hours of CE will be available. Clinical pathologists and residents are particularly encouraged to attend!
Guest speakers:
Dr. Melissa Sanchez, Chief, Small Animal Autopsy Service at the University of Pennsylvania – School of Veterinary Medicine – “Updates in canine and feline oral pathology”
Dr. Elizabeth Mauldin, Associate Professor of Pathology/Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine – “Epidermal structure, function and dysfunction”
Cases write ups and two high quality H&E slides or photomicrographs of cytology are required for presenters.
The registration fee is $100 for individual and affiliate (university) members of the C.L. Davis Foundation, and $200 for non-members (which includes a 2015 membership in the Foundation). Tuition includes a CD of digital slides, continental breakfast and breaks on Saturday and Sunday, and lunch on Saturday afternoon, as well as 10 hours of RACE-accredited CE.
A course dinner will be held at the City Tap House for $35 per person, including beverage (guests may attend at a similar price) which may be payable with the course tuition.
